The Yoga Festival in Haarlem is almost upon us: On the 20th and 21st of June, the Elswout Estate is transformed into a great big yoga party, with all sorts of yoga classes, demos, workshops and great healthy foods like zucchini pastas and raw cacao milkshakes.
This year’s Yoga Festival Theme is enjoying yourself: Having fun and feeling lots of love for yourself, others and the outside world. This has everything to do with the sacral/second chakra, the energy centre in your body that regulates balance, harmony and being able to feel happiness and joy.
Unfortunately I myself can’t make it on the Saturday, where I would have LOVED to do (another) Asthanga beginner’s course as well as attend the Meditate and Celebrate workshop. But I AM going the Sunday. I kind of want to do some acro (you ready for that shit, Mariet?)and Kundalini yoga so we’ll see if we can make that happen!
I attended the Sunday of the Yoga Festival Haarlem (wrote about it) last year if you want to see more of what you could do then.
If you want to know more about the program now you can see their schedules here (Saturday) and here (Sunday). You can find more info on the tickets here. Going for a day costs 47,50 (but for all the yoga introductions you can do in one day this isn’t bad) AND if you use the “selfhelp-yfh15” you get a 5 euro discount (applies until Friday the 18th!)
See you there?
(Let me know in the comments. I’m serious, let’s hang – or at least high-five.)
