The Best Self Help Hipster Articles of 2014.

Tea? Vodka? Bleach? You’ll never know.

I am loving the Year In Review posts I see everywhere, and by loving them I actually mean that I hate them and that they make me want to scream and throw things at my computer screen.

My 2014 life? I no longer have it. My relationship with someone I love ended. I moved from an apartment that I loved and a city that I loved, into an apartment that I love in a town that I love I’m okay with.

This sounds awful, and it is, but I’m doing okay. I eat, I sleep, I see my friends. I am figuring out this new situation, and I am supported by amazing people all around.

And what does make me happy is looking back on my blog and see the weird stuff I’ve put out there, and that it has made people laugh, think or both.

This is a list of what I think were my best articles. I want to thank you guys for reading along, whether you are a faithful commenter, Internet friend, a long time lurker or even someone who occasionally drops by to eye roll. I appreciate all of you.

I’ll be better to you in 2015, promise. I blog too little for someone who claims to know what she’s doing. I’m upping the frequency of blog posts per week in 2015.

  4. Hey, you’ve not been bad to us at all, okay? And I’m a long term reader. I enjoy reading your posts as they come and don’t feel deprived if you don’t publish more frequently. Have a happy new year what ever you decide and make it good one. I intend to! Look after yourself.

  6. I’m in the “lurker” category. I’ve never left a comment before but felt compelled to do so today for some reason. Love your blog…your authenticity, realism and sarcasm. Keep on keepin’ on, girlie. My heart goes out to you so positive vibes and thoughts being sent your way. And isn’t it perfect (or wretched??) timing that you are forced into a “new start” at the annual collective of proverbial fresh starts? With that…happy new year. But seriously, for reals!

  7. i just started reading your blog and I want to let you know this: you can get through it. Breakups are gut-wrenching, but use the time to listen to yourself and recognize your needs from the person who you lost and learn to satisfy them on your own. You’ll do great and you have support from all of your followers! Keep your chin up girl.

  8. Can’t wait to hear that your planning on writing more in the new year, just going to make a cup of tea before binge reading all your great posts 😉
Although I never really comment I have been reading your blog for over a year and just wanted to say that you are really inspiring and funny and a great blog-parent
I’m sorry about what you are going through, I feel like I can’t really help but I’m sending good vibes
Have a great new year xx

  9. Jeetje Lianne..
