Law of Attraction: Step I, the questions.

I think Gala Darling said it in one of her Love&Sequins e-chapters: “If you don’t know what you really want, you’ll just get any old thing.” You will miss opportunities to get the things you really want, and that’s a real shame. It’s worth the time and effort to think about all this. Plus, it’s fun! You get to daydream and fantasize about all sorts of wonderful things!

This is your life. It should have the things you want in it. Now, if you need a little kick-start to start fantasizing and from thereon figuring out exactly what you want from life, I got a few questions for you.

Life in general:  How do you want to feel, on a daily basis? What type of things you want to do during the week? How do you want to spend your weekends? What type of motto do you want to live by?

Love&Friendships: What kind of romantic relationship do you want? With what type of boy/girl/toaster oven? What do you want to get from your relationships and friendships? What kind of friends to you want to have? How do you want people to treat you? How do you want to treat people?

Work&Career: What kind of job do you want to have? What do you want your working day to look like? How many hours do you want to spend on your career? In what field do you want to be successful? But also, what do you want to give? How hard are you willing to work? What kind of satisfaction do you want from your job?

Finances: How much money do you need to be financially secure? How much money do you want to be financially wealthy? How much money do  you want in your checking account, your savings account?  How much money do you want to spend each month?

Health&Body: What type of body do you want? What weight? How do you want to look? What type of diet do you want? How do you want your exercise regime to look? How healthy, energetic and fit do you want to feel?

Clothes&Style: What clothes do you want to wear (style/brands/fabrics/cuts)? What do you want to look like? What different looks do you like to wear? What kind of accessories do you want to wear?  What’s your choice of hair style/make-up/shoes?

Your Purpose: What do you want to do to give purpose to your life? How do you want to improve yourself, the situation of others, the world around you?

Self: What type of person do you want to be?

Let your mind wander. Think about the areas of your life, how you want them to look, what you want to have in them? Write these things down. That’s how it all can start.

  1. Yes, great article. It can be a little overwhelming to think about how do you want your life to look like but when you divide it up like this it is actually fun to think about.
