Anyone who is subscribed (Go! Subscribe!) already noticed, but if you hadn’t already: New Self Help Hipster Podcast is out!
Andrew SINGS in it. Like, A LOT. It’s a thing.
Yeah this is going to be the second and final part of Blog Tips from a Bitch because I am already bored, this is not my scene and I found RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 on Youtube: I LIVE for Raja and Carmen Carrera.
So. Tips below. Read ’em. In the mean time I’ll be staring at men who are prettier in a dress than I am.
(Ph by Aline Bouma)
I wrote an article about blogging before, and I was a total bitch about everything.
You promoting your sub-par articles (three times a day), following-and-then-unfollowing-as-soon-as-they-follow-back strategies, leaving comments on other blogs that are mainly so you’ll generate traffic (you’re fooling nobody, not even when you attempt to make the comment ‘meaningful’), schmoozing up to the big-timers, buying your audience?
I’m not here for it. I will never be here for it.
However, I am here, and you’re just going to have to deal.
And I have more tips. So I figured I’d be a total bitch about blogging some more. These blogging tips from a bitch might help make you the awesome and interesting person you can be if you drop all the nonsense.
Of course, this is all my personal opinion. But it’s worth listening to.
I know blogging, I know people and sweetie?
I don’t care enough about you to lie.
Crazy cleaning and organising lady SWEEPS the nation with her tidying book. I reviewed it in my Podcast but I wanted to write the actual book review too.
Truth be told, my GOD. This book. I tried. I really did. Hell, I’m still trying.
Book review below.
Greetings, earthlings. It’s back.
I wanted to write one for June but the charger of my (ancient) MacBook stopped working and I couldn’t use my laptop for a few days, which was a bitch. When my new charger came in the mail I was already wildly distracted by other things in my life, and decided to do a two-for-one month combination after July.
So. Here we are. Let’s not make things awkward and just go ahead.
Yoooo, I was the GirlsLove2Travel Pride Boat 2015.
Although you don’t really need to read it because nobody made out with each other! I mean, really now.
As I said on Twitter, total BUST.
(Kidding. It was epic. But come on. Next year I wanna see sloppy drunk bloggers French each other or I’m throwing a tantrum.)
What do you do when you have a friend who is WAY into Cosplay and awesome at it too?
You steal one of her costumes, put on one of her wigs and you let her take you to one of the fantasy-hippie festivals she likes.
No, seriously. Cosplay was something I always wanted to try. I love nerd-stuff and I love dress up, so this is pretty perfect.
You wanna see what I did all day?
Shit ton of pics in my Castlefest report after the jump.
Most of us have something in life we want to do differently. Something we want to be better at/better with, something we want to change for the better, long term. Some of us have many of these, some of us just one or two (good on ya), but there is usually always something.
Spending your work or leisure time more effectively, eating less junk food, being more patient, exercising more.
There’s people who believe people can’t change. I agree that some aspects of our personality or impulses are so hard-wired they will stay with us for life, but I see people change all the time. What happens to us, what we make happen – these things change us. Our behavior is under our control.
Behavioral changes are hard-won, but we can do it. We can do things differently. The only problem is that we are unable to make it last. How to make lasting changes in your life, that is the hard part.
So how do we make it last? How do we do that?
